Digital cameras are...

...brilliant, or way fun, or wicked fun, or heaps of fun,
depending on where you hale from.  I try to take mine with me wherever I go and I post many of my pictures here. 
In an effort not to overwhelm your Internet connection with lots of downloads,  I've divided my photographic forays by year or event.

Well, except for this one.

I don't have to write an essay on
"What I did on my summer vacation" this year.
This picture, taken in July, 2006, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii,
sums it up quite nicely!

That's me in the red, with my kids.  The island was incredibly beautiful, with lovely trade winds
(strong where we were in the photo!)
friendly people, and fabulous snorkeling... my favorite thing we did there.  My daughter even got to swim with a sea turtle.
