Can you read Russian?

Charming the Shrew was released in Germany last winter, now it's been released in Russia!  I have to take the translation and the proper spelling of my name on faith since I don't read a word of Russian.

Contests ~  3.1.08  Future contests will be announced through my newsletter.  You can subscribe right here.

Newsletters ~  10.14.07 I'll be sending notice of future books, contests, and appearances out via LaurinWittigNews, my electronic newsletter, so subscribe now!  Your information is never shared.  Newsletters go out sporadically and only when there is news to share.  I promise not to clog up your email!

NaNoWriMo ~  1.8.08 Alas the fun is over for now, but the mayhem and furious word production will gear up again next fall.  If you've ever thought of writing a novel (and who hasn't?) this might be the thing to get you out of the "someday I'll write a novel" way of thinking and into the fabulous creative state that is actually writing that book. Check out the National Novel Writing Month web site for more information about writing in general and NaNoWriMo specifically.

"Wittig truly captures the essence of the Scots -- their deep passion for freedom and justice, love of their homeland and fierce pride -- in her remarkable characters and their colorful, historically accurate, highly romantic love story.  She's well on her way to becoming one of the genres finest story tellers."
