Creating Characters with Depth: 10 Ways to Dig Deeper

Can be offered as a month long, on-line class, as a day-long in person workshop, or it can be shortened to fit other time frames.

Course description: The most memorable characters are multilayered with flaws and virtues, goals, desires, quirks and habits, unique world views, yet they need to be common enough to be accessible to every reader.  How do you start with an idea, a glimmer of a character and build that sketchy thought into a living breathing, three-dimensional character that readers will root for, or hate?  Join award-winning historical romance author Laurin Wittig and learn how to dig deeper to find the depth that will bring your characters to life.
